Starts: The 18.64-mile race starts at 7:30 a.m., the 10.31-mile race at 8:30 a.m., the morning 3.6-mile race at 9:30 a.m., and the sunset 3.6-mile race at 6 p.m. The organizer also lists a 1.864-kilometer dash.
Where: Cathedral Gorge State Park Group Use Area, 111 Cathedral Gorge State Park Road, Panaca.
Registration is $65 for the 3.6-mile race, $75 for 10.31 miles, and $85 for 18.64 miles. Adding the evening 3.6-mile race to a morning race costs $20. Online registration closes October 23 at noon; register by October 5 for guaranteed swag. There is no race-day registration and the organizer states that race fees are nonrefundable.
The dirt-trail courses are challenging and include stairs toward Miller's Point. Park entrance and camping fees are separate. The organizer warns that a restroom near Miller's Point is under construction, so runners should review the current course and aid-station notes before race day.
