Caliente has posted two service notices for the 2026 Nevada Day holiday.
- Residential garbage: the city’s October 26 notice schedules pickup for Wednesday, October 28, in lieu of the holiday.
- City Hall: the October 27 notice says the office will be closed Friday, October 30, in observance of Nevada Day.
The garbage notice is specifically for residential service. It does not announce a commercial-route change or a pickup hour. This report does not confirm that a particular route has already been collected.
