Caliente Railroad Depot: railroad history and visitor information

Built in 1923, the Caliente Railroad Depot is a two-story Mission-style landmark at 100 Depot Avenue. The City of Caliente's history identifies the tan-stucco building as the replacement for an earlier wooden depot that burned. Its first floor originally held the railroad station, private offices, and a community center, while the second floor included a hotel.
