October 3 review: current availability is unconfirmed. The City of Caliente’s August 18, 2026 post and linked announcement remain online. Their continued availability does not establish that the Caliente Community and Visitor Center position is still vacant.
The announcement advertises an at-will, part-time customer-service representative working up to 15 hours per week at $16 per hour, without benefits. Duties include day-to-day visitor-center operations, existing programs and coordination with community partners.
The notice seeks applicants who are self-motivated, can work independently and with a team, communicate effectively, write reports, maintain a positive attitude and have computer skills. It says recruitment remains open until a viable candidate is selected; no current hiring outcome was verified.
