Cathedral Gorge visitor center and Miller Point closed August 31-September 1

Cathedral Gorge State Park's visitor center and Miller Point are temporarily closed Monday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 1, because parking-lot maintenance prevents access to those two areas.

Nevada State Parks expects both locations to reopen Wednesday, September 2. The official notice does not say that the entire park is closed.

This is a short-lived service notice. Visitors should check the official park page for any changed schedule or additional access information before traveling.
