Eagle Watch at Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge
A free ranger-led eagle and raptor walk will cover about 1.5 miles at Upper Pahranagat Lake on December 19.
Pahranagat and Moapa Valley National Wildlife Refuges will host a free Eagle Watch at Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, December 19.
When: 10 a.m. to noon Pacific.
Meet: Picnic pavilion at the Upper Pahranagat Lake day-use area. From U.S. Highway 93, use the Upper Pahranagat Lake entrance about three miles south of Alamo and three miles north of the refuge visitor center; the pavilion is on the right.
The ranger-led walk will focus on eagles and other raptors and cover about 1.5 miles on the Upper Lake Trail. Dress for the weather and bring water and binoculars. Loaner binoculars will be available first-come, first-served.
