Full Moon Hike at Cathedral Gorge — October 24
Register by email for a three-mile evening hike on the Juniper Draw Trail, October 24, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Cathedral Gorge State Park has scheduled its Full Moon Hike for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pacific. Meet at the day-use picnic-area ramada.
The guided Juniper Draw Trail outing covers three miles on sandy, uneven ground with approximately 200 feet of elevation gain. Staff will discuss nocturnal wildlife.
Registration is required: email cgsp@parks.nv.gov. The program is free; vehicle entrance costs $5 for Nevada residents or $10 for nonresidents.
Bring water, hiking shoes, a flashlight and layers. Minors need an accompanying adult; dogs must remain leashed. Weather may cause cancellation, so recheck the official notice before leaving. Questions: 775-728-8101.
