Guardian proposes Tempiute ore for Montana tungsten pilot

Guardian Metal Resources described plans to supply legacy ore from its Tempiute tungsten project near Rachel for a pilot-processing program in Montana, according to a July 8, 2026, company filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The filing says an initial approximately 250–400 tonnes of stockpiled material would go to a partner facility in Philipsburg, Montana. Guardian identified the Montana Mining Association as its partner and said Montana Technological University and the Army Research Laboratory were also involved in advancing the program.
A proposed pilot, not a confirmed restart
The company anticipated initial shipments by late summer, subject to metallurgical and pilot-scale testing. The cited filing does not establish that those shipments have since occurred, that commercial production has begun, or that the Tempiute mine has restarted.
