Halloween Night Hike at Pahranagat Refuge
A free one-mile Halloween night hike at Upper Pahranagat Lake will explore nocturnal wildlife on October 31.
Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge will host a free Halloween Night Hike at Upper Pahranagat Lake on Saturday, October 31.
Start: 7 p.m. Pacific at the Upper Lake day-use pavilion. The organizer says the program will last about one hour and follow roughly one mile of the Upper Lake Trail.
The ranger-led program will focus on nocturnal wildlife and the adaptations animals use after dark. Costumes are encouraged. Dress for the weather.
White flashlights should be left at home to protect night vision and reduce disturbance to wildlife. Red-light flashlights are required and will be provided by the refuge.
