This is a planning notice for tagholders, not an announcement of open applications. The guide’s fall application deadline was August 10, with results due by August 21. An approaching season does not mean a tag is available.
The listed limit is one wild turkey, either sex, by tag only. Hunting hours are one-half hour before sunrise through sunset. Check your issued tag, current NDOW rules and location-specific restrictions; a tag does not authorize entry onto private property.
Fall tag recipients must submit a harvest questionnaire by December 31, 2026, whether or not they harvested a bird. Consult the official guide for reporting instructions and penalties.
