Lincoln County Recorder requires Nevada's updated Declaration of Value form

The Lincoln County Recorder/Auditor's Office says filings that require a Declaration of Value must use Nevada's updated form in 2026.

The county accepted the previous form through December 31, 2025. Beginning January 1, 2026, only the new form is accepted. The current state document is marked LGS-F049, version V2026.1, and shows Nevada Tax Commission approval dated October 6, 2025.

Tax Commission minutes say the revision followed Assembly Bill 377 from the 2025 legislative session. The updated form lets property owners indicate whether property is owner occupied or a residential rental dwelling for property-tax abatement purposes, and it includes additional formatting changes.

Anyone preparing a property recording should download the current form from an official county or Nevada Department of Taxation page and confirm which forms and documents apply to the transaction.
