Lincoln County producers: October 15 cutoff for NRCS FY2027 conservation funding consideration
Nevada's application cutoff covers four conservation programs; the official directory lists a Caliente field office for local guidance.
Lincoln County farmers, ranchers and other potentially eligible land managers can ask NRCS about Nevada's October 15, 2026 application cutoff for fiscal year 2027 conservation funding consideration. NRCS accepts applications year-round, but this date matters for the upcoming ranking and funding cycle; submitting is not a promise of an award.
The Nevada notice covers EQIP for conservation improvements, CSP for building on existing stewardship, ACEP for eligible agricultural-land or wetland easements, and AMA for agricultural risk-management and conservation practices. They are different programs, not interchangeable grants or unrestricted payments.
NRCS's August 31 directory lists the Caliente Field Office, 360 Lincoln St., 775-834-1004. Ask the office which program fits your land and operation, what documents are needed, and how to submit in time. No cutoff hour or current office hours are stated in the sources reviewed.
Eligibility, ranking, selected practices, contracts and available funding are determined by NRCS. This is public program information, not an individual eligibility decision or approval to start reimbursable work.
