Recorded state acquisition: 931 Cathedral Gorge State Park Road
Lincoln County's Assessor records a $350,000 August 31 transfer of the three-acre ranger-residence parcel beside Cathedral Gorge to the Nevada Division of State Lands.
The Lincoln County Assessor's current parcel record reports an August 31, 2026 grant, bargain and sale deed transferring APN 012-110-20 from Yuriko Setzer to the Nevada Division of State Lands. The Assessor displays official record 171608 and declared consideration of $350,000.
The parcel page identifies 931 Cathedral Gorge State Park Road, three acres, a 2,440-square-foot residence built in 1962 and several assessed extra features. Those are assessment-record fields, not a building inspection, survey, appraisal, title policy, permit determination or representation about condition.
A 2025 Nevada conservation-bond project list separately identified this exact APN as the proposed “Cathedral Gorge Ranger Residence” acquisition and described an approximately three-acre residence acquisition for State Parks. The recorded Assessor transfer is consistent with that project description, but Lincoln County Social did not independently review the deed image, closing file, funding disbursement or any use restrictions.
The Assessor's ownership display and consideration field are current public-record signals, not a complete title history. The Recorder's public index said documents were indexed through August 30 during this review, and the individual document-detail page could not be safely opened because of its certificate error. Readers needing legal descriptions, exceptions, restrictions or funding details should obtain official copies from the Recorder and the responsible state agency.
