Nevada's 2026 mourning and white-winged dove season runs September 1 through October 30 statewide, subject to closed areas and site-specific rules. Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge says dove hunting is allowed daily during September within its designated hunting area.
The refuge hunting area begins north of Dove Dike and continues south through Lower Pahranagat Lake; signs and the refuge map define the open zone. Refuge rules require approved non-toxic shot, allow hunting by shotgun only, and require firearms to be unloaded and encased or dismantled while transported by vehicle or boat.
Nevada's published season lists a combined daily limit of 15 mourning and white-winged doves and possession limit of 45, with hunting from one-half hour before sunrise to sunset. A current Nevada license and annual HIP validation requirements apply; other federal, state, refuge and land-access rules may also apply.
