Sundown Showdown singles horseshoes in Pioche — October 3
The sanctioned singles tournament is scheduled for October 3 with a $21 entry fee. Check the organizer's conflicting sign-in and address details before attending.
The Nevada Horseshoe Pitchers Association lists the NHPA-sanctioned Sundown Showdown singles tournament for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Pioche Town Park's horseshoe courts. Entry is $21.
The fresh organizer flyer says signup is due by 12:30 p.m. and pitching begins at 1 p.m. Pacific. The association website instead says sign in by 1 p.m. Plan for the earlier cutoff and confirm arrangements with the organizer; a 1 p.m. arrival should not be assumed acceptable.
Directions also need confirmation: the website gives 245 Pioche Street, while the flyer prints 2456 Pioche Street. No end time or spectator admission price is stated. Association contact Don Brown is listed at 702-596-3512.
This October 3 singles tournament is separate from the October 4 Shoes $ Brews doubles event.
Check the current association notice and read the organizer flyer before attending.
