USDA drought emergency-loan deadline for Lincoln County producers is December 10

Eligible agricultural producers in Lincoln County have until December 10, 2026, to apply for U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency emergency loans under a federal drought designation.

USDA designated Lincoln, Elko and White Pine counties as primary natural disaster areas after qualifying drought conditions during the growing season. The designation allows the Farm Service Agency to offer emergency credit to eligible producers recovering from natural-disaster losses.

According to the official notice, emergency-loan funds may be used for recovery needs such as replacing essential equipment or livestock, reorganizing a farming operation or refinancing certain debts. The designation does not guarantee a loan. FSA reviews applications based on the extent of losses, available security and repayment ability.

Producers should review the official designation, use USDA's disaster-assistance and loan tools, and contact a USDA Service Center with questions about eligibility or the application process before the deadline.
