Where Lincoln County residents can find Nevada surplus auctions
Nevada directs public bidders to online surplus sales through JJ Kane, mainly in the Reno and Las Vegas areas.
Lincoln County residents interested in surplus vehicles, equipment or other state property can start with Nevada Purchasing's public auction page. The state uses a private auction contractor and directs public bidders to JJ Kane's online system.
Sales are mainly associated with the Reno and Las Vegas areas. As checked September 7, the state's page said fall auction dates would be announced later. This guide does not identify a current Lincoln County lot, local pickup location or specific item available for sale.
Check the full cost before bidding
Follow the official state link to the auctioneer, then review each listing's inspection arrangements, condition disclosures, buyer charges, payment rules and pickup deadline. Account for transportation or hauling before deciding whether a distant lot is practical.
The public auction route is distinct from programs that transfer surplus property to qualifying public agencies or organizations. Agency turn-in forms on the state's page are not the same as bidder registration.
This is a navigation guide, not a sale listing or recommendation to bid. The auctioneer's current lot terms control any purchase.
